Our Youth Programs are very close to our hearts. We are seeing more and more children struggling with anxiety, due to living in a world of over-stimulation & constantly on the go.
We offer EMPOWER yoga + mindfulness to support the growth of youth emotionally, socially, and physically. Our goal is to EMPOWER the whole child with simple tools so they can help themselves.
We explore the science behind how our body + emotions work, habits of mind and metacognitive awareness, so we can better understand ourselves, others, and manage challenging situations in healthy ways. We work with our breath + movement to help calm our bodies + minds, improve our focus, get better sleep, and gain greater self-awareness. We explore mindfulness through play, various activities and crafts to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, confidence, learn more about ourselves + others, and appropriate communication skills for improved collaboration.
Children are naturally drawn to the simple practices of yoga and mindfulness, and these tools become foundations for healthy coping skills for the rest of their lives. Watching children bring these practices into their daily lives and share it with their families brings us such joy!
